Here's a contest with a prize worth winning: submit a short film and a feature script to the Chrysler Film Project, and if you're chosen as its sole survivor, you win a feature film directing gig. Even if you didn't see last year's Cry_Wolf, you might remember it being advertised nationally by a little company named Universal Pictures. Its director, Jeff Wadlow, got the job by winning last year's Chrysler competition. The deadline is rapidly approaching for this year's contest, so basically if you haven't got a script for your feature, you're kind of hosed. See what you can muster up by April 20th.Chrysler Film Project Deadline Approaching

THX
has put out a call for entries for their "Create your own THX Trailer" contest. You produce and submit
your own 30-60 second trailer, and they choose the winners and post them for the world to see (deadline is May
23). Other than the robot shaking the moo can, THX hasn't come out with anything original in years--so here's
your chance to blind them with your brilliance. And while the prize isn't great--winners receive an
"exclusive" THX director's chair--at least you'll have something to sit on while you rake in countless job
offers, after the whole world sees your trailer listed in the top 10 at THX.com.
