Hoping to bridge the barely-shrinking HD DVD and Blu-Ray gap, Warner has announced yet another new format merging the two competing formats, dubbed the Total Hi Def disc. Warner claims that the discs can contain dual layers of both HD DVD and Blu-ray content on a single disc, at no increased cost.
