Roxio has just released the latest upgrade to the choice Mac OS X CD/DVD burning application, Toast 8 Titanium. Immediately available for purchase online, the newest version promises a wealth of new enhancements such as TiVoToGo, Blu-ray disc burning, disc cataloging, cross-platform data spanning and recovery, and advanced audio tools. Toast 8's new support for DVRs, including TiVo and EyeTV allows allows users to watch recorded shows on their computer, burn them to DVD or DivX discs, or convert them for portable viewing on iPods or PSPs. The other features sound equally nice, and it seems as though this update will be worth the cash.
