Microsoft is developing a "flash killer" that is supposed be very similar to Flash but better. Microsoft's new flash killer has the not so trendy codename of WPF/E (this will of course be changed later). When it comes to video it will be similar to AJAX allowing a video to be resized without having to reload the page, you can also use the back button to go back and forth between videos rather than returning back to the previous web page like in Flash. This actually sounds like it could be a very good tool for video creators. Microsoft has published more details on the video side of things here.Microsofts Flash killer good for video?

1. Everything M$ do is a killer... Zune (68th position on Amazon's best selling rank, 20 positions below a vinyl turntable from the sixties) was the iPod Killer, Play4Sure (RIP) was the iTunes killer, now is deceased, MSN search was the Google killer..., now we have this "flash killer" stuff...
They have to realize they are in their way down the road, nothing can stop them now from going down...
