IFC Media Lab and Film Independent are teaming up and hosting a challenge titled the Media Lab Spirit Awards Short Film Contest for all willing participants. With a super short time 90 second time requirement, filmmakers are asked to adapt the theme of "what does independence mean to you?" The final deadline is January 19, 2007, and voting will run from January 26th to February 16th. You must have a Media Lab account to submit. Give it a go.(via Flippant)
