At a press conference in Hong Kong Samsung has revealed its new Ultra Video F500 cell phone. This phone is special because it's the first cell phone to support DivX videos. DivX has been showing it's very keen to expand with the company previously saying it wants to get DivX technology into more consumer electronics (by that I mean DVRs, DVD players etc and not a DivX hairdryer). DivX also recently launched the video sharing site Stage6 featuring high quality DivX video and I'm sure it has plans to integrate those videos into the new internet enabled DivX cell phones. The Samsung F500 will have 400MB of internal memory with support for an extra 2GB through a MicroSD card.
