Democracy Player 0.9.2 has been released today, promising much improved speed and memory usage over previous versions. In fact, the application claims 50-75% less RAM usage on Windows machines. I have yet to upgrade myself, but Democracy's tendency to hog system resources has been my main gripe with the software since its introduction.
