NYT: talent agencies aiming to find Web video stars

New York Times reports that talent agencies like United Talent Agency (UTA) has started an online video division that looks for web video stars. Meaning directors, writers and actors who are using the web as a medium are the people the agency is looking for. They have already signed some directors including the director of the Paxilback, a parody on Justin Timberlake's Sexyback. This is a very predictable move by the agency. Video is the hottest thing online, it seems every other day an online video star is being born. And the industry along with the artist's are looking for some way to cash in.
