Panasonic VDR-D200 reviewed

Panasonic VDR-D200Camcorderinfo.com has posted a review of an entry level DVD cam from Panasonic. The VDR-D200 is the successor to the VDR-D100 (naturally) but seems to lack compelling new features making an upgrade worthwhile. The only enhancements were made to still-photo features and as everyone knows, video cameras are terrible at being still cameras. And you know how we feel about recording video straight to DVD? Avoid it at all costs if you plan to do any editing. So if you are still interested in a no frills DVD camcorder, the VDR-D200 is fine, although you can probably find the VDR-D100 for less and not worry about what you might be missing. If I still haven't persuaded you, maybe David Kender's thorough review will help you see the light.
