Upravlator explained?

As you recall, earlier we reported about Upravlator, the upcoming project from Optimus keyboard maker Art Lebedev. There weren't many details, but it from the sounds of it, video editors should benefit. Well here is a few more tidbits of info I managed to dig up. It will have three cables; USB, VGA, and power. The keys will be bigger compared to the Optimus keyboard.

And now there is a rough sketch under the title Explaining Upravlator To A Five Year Old.

Oh, and there is also a side view of a life size mock-up.

So what could it possibly do? Hopefully it will introduce a better way to interface with a computer. After all, the mouse and keyboard have been around for how many years? If you get all giddy about this project, check out the official blog that was released not too long ago.
