Embedded video should be easy

Embed the video
Jordan Running over at Download Squad is a little ticked off about online videos that don't make it easy to embed and share the content on other pages. Now we're talking about things like movie trailers, short clips from TV shows, and other such promotional material meant for as many eye balls as possible. Jordan points out "But while I can stick a pirated clip from YouTube on my web site with two clicks, there's usually no simple, straightforward way to do the same thing from a legitimate site." He has a good point. Videos that are meant to advertise or promote (i.e. movie trailers) should be easy to spread around in the interest of the material. This is such an easy-to-do thing it is a big surprise to me only video sharing sites are doing it. With just a little code, a video can get the best kind of promotion -- word of mouth. So if you are an independent marketer do yourself a favor and include a snippit of code so others can embed your video in other pages and get your message out to a wider audience.
