Now that Google has snatched up YouTube, Time Warner has conveniently decided to follow up on copyright complants against the video sharing website. Dick Parsons, chairman and cheif executive of Time Warner says: ``You can assume we're in negotiations with YouTube and that those negotiations will be kicked up to the Google level in the hope that we can get to some acceptable position." He has, however, denied that the decision to pursue copyright complaints has been the result of Google's acquisition of YouTube. It is unclear if the two companies will be able to strike a deal and avoid further entanglements.
