In This Corner, the 80s!

Every now and then a movie comes along that just makes you feel good. It sparks something inside that you had forgotten, and for a brief moment lets you re-live that feeling. I found that type of movie today. It's not playing in any theater and you can't buy it at the DVD-gettin'-place. It's hosted over at DivX Stage6 and it is awesome.

In This Corner
is a short film by Item Four Productions, set in 1988, about a young boy's battle to beat Mike Tyson in the video game Mike Tyson's Punchout. If you are too young to remember that time period, you won't get the full effect of what the movie is about. But if you were a kid or young adult in the 80s, you'll get it, and you'll watch it several times to pick out those oh-so-subtle 80s trends (big hair anyone?). And don't hide, I see you grooving to that 80s beat.

Take 15 minutes out of your day and watch this short film. (and you might find an old Nintendo Entertainment System over on eBay. You know you want one)
