Like Scott at Tuaw, everytime I visit the Apple store I drool over 30-inch display. I tell my wife that I could be so much more productive if I had one of those... but she sees right through me and ends up laughing in my face. Fortunately for you, me and every big monitor enthusiast, Apple hired Pfeiffer Consulting, an independent technology consulting firm, to look at the productivity gains of having bigger monitors. Sure enough, the results favored the bigger screens. Take note though... the study is commissioned by Apple, and I'm pretty sure they sponsored the study so they can sell the big screens more easily. Next time you are working on a gig with a small screen, and the client asks their project isn't done, give them the study!
