It is always fun to be the bearer of good news. Daz, the makers of the popular 3D landscape and animation software, Bryce, are offering version 5 for free. You basically visit the special offers page, download software, during installation, you are asked to register at the Daz site and you are done. A great deal, version 5.5 of Bryce retails for $100. This program is available on both Macs and PC's. Get it while it is hot!Update: It doesn't work on Tiger which is what I use. I was all excited to play with it this weekend. Damn!

1. This is a great deal and i downloaded it. I'm running mac os x 10.4.7 on a powerbook g4 and everything in the program works beautifully up until I try and save or open or export anything, then the standard window for saving and exporting with all its options remain behind the fullscreen and cannot be clicked on. Any ideas on how to solves this problem with bryce 5?
