With new formats in the new Blu-ray DVD's like fancy and interactive games (which I have not seen yet), a new authoring software was needed. Sony has dutifully released such a software for a whopping, wait for it, $50,000 per license. Clearly meant for professionals. A free 30-day trial is available by request. Sony Media Software also provides technical support and maintenance agreements for Blu-print at the Gold (6 months - $7,500) and Platinum levels (1 year - $10,000).
