MacBook is introduced

So without much hoopla, Apple released the MacBook, the Intel version of the iBook. The new models share one case design that is available in black or white with a 13.3-inch, 1280x800 display.
  • The Intel's Core Duo processor range from 1.83 GHz to 2.0 GHz
  • Six-hour battery life
  • An integrated iSight webcam, a remote control, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth
  • Price range from $1,099 to $1,499.
  • Black model is $1,499 model
  • 667MHz front-side bus
  • 512MB of DDR2 SDRAM memory expandable to 2GB
  • 20 percent thinner than iBook
  • 79 percent brighter than iBook
As you can see, the specs are quite good. The transition to Intel is really paying off. So with this announcement out of the way, curious to see what is released at Apple's press event on thursday.
