Motionbox: the future of online video sharing?

There isn't any shortage of video sharing services today, as existing sites like VideoEgg, Vimeo, Grouper, vSocial, and of course YouTube (as well as dozens of others) already enjoy plenty of traffic and mindshare.  But think back to the photo-sharing arena: by offering the user more features and interactivity, Flickr managed to snatch the reins from well-established players like Shutterfly and Snapfish.

Always-influential tech journalist Michael Arrington profiles the yet-to-launch video site Motionbox, which he says offers the "best online video sharing so far."  Despite being the new kid on the block, Motionbox is poised to pull off a Flickr-like heist of the online video market by offering new and innovative features, such as: integrated online editing,  downloading and DVD burning of full-quality original files, mashup functionality (remix your own videos with clips from other users), and "deep tagging" (you can tag individual video segments, making a video clip more navigable).  You'll have to wait a few weeks for Motionbox to launch, but for now it's worth checking out the preview and screengrabs at TechCrunch.
