Finally! I don't know why a company like Sony would take so
long to include a major population of the creative community. Anyways, the all new minidisc recorder MZ-RH1 will support
Macs. The Mac software will be released this summer after the MZ-RH1 is shipped in May. So instead of going analog to
digital, you can just stay digital the entire way. These devices are very adequate for field recordings.(via MacNN)

1. That's great! I cannot live without my Hi-MD recorder.
It can record from whatever source (TV, cassette, VHS, DVD, reel-tape player, turntable, PC....) in whatever quality from PCM, to 48K (45 hours of music)....
It's just a fantastic format more versatile than any mp3 player!!!!
