I have mentioned some 35mm adapters before, devices that basically give you the
option of adding a 35mm lens to your DV camera to get to as close as you can to the film look. The Letus35 adapter is no different. There are couple of samples of the
adapter at work with the DVX100 and Canon XL1, the results as always with these devices are quite impressive.
Mind you, the lens makes a big difference which usually costs an arm and a leg. The Letus35 adapter is inexpensive
compared with the other offerings, pricing at $300 with an extra $20 for the 72mm version.Letus35: Another 35mm Adapter

(Page 1)2. There is a MUCH improved version of the Letus35 called the Letus35 Extreme that was just released. It flips the image up-right so you can preview and record as normal. Sample videos and pictures of the adapter are up over at http://www.letusdirect.com if you are interested.

1. The Letus units are great, but whether you have the Letus, Redrock, Cinevate or the Mini35 you need the best prime lenses - Nikon AI's. You can see a selection of Nikon primes at Lenses35.com
