The mic I'm using is (literally!) a 10-year-old wireless. Basically, the worst of the worst. I bought a new stick mic (electrovoice, for ENG stuff.) The DV Guru Vodcast is basically as guerilla as any blog. We get to steal mics from some of my friends in broadcast every once in a while, but this week, unfortunately it was our crap backup.
Regardless of our guerilla presentation, count on our content being top notch. We're working on getting more equipment, and as we do, the quality will subsequently increase. Also, on tap (cash permitting) expect us to be at more expositions and community events.

1. I haven't watched one of the vodcasts up until this point, but so far your presentation impresses me.
I have to say though, the sound leaves a lot to be desired. Does that have to do with quality loss in post, or sub-par microphones?
