News is always best when fresh, but regardless, NBC is going to release its Nightly News with Brian Williams online. The only catch is it will be four hours delayed. Now if I know the peacock network, they're being aggresive-passive. They're trying to feel out the online content distribution channel, without actually committing to distributing online content. Sounds fun to me. Right now, when I go online for news, I'm not really looking for video. Traditionally, the web has been sort of a newspaper for the world, and video news hasn't really translated well yet. Is there a market for this sort of news online? (Obviously the lateness factor makes it almost useless, but an interesting venture.)NBC News Available Online (Late)
