Well if you find yourself spending too much time searching through stock footage libraries, Thought Equity one of the larger stock footage houses has released a widget for OSX that may help you speed up the process. 1. Neat, except the footage is mostly very expensive :) I just wondered if there is any service/website offering free and royalty-free HD stock footage.
If not I would be interested in setting up such a 100% free stock footage service, and I wonder how big the demand for quality stock footage is. Just to know if my service would attract enough people, and what kind of people would use it (students? documentary makers? TV?).
I would appreciate to get the opinion of anyone using stock footage, especially for a professional use.
