I have always liked taking stills with slow shutter speeds, you can always get some magical stills pics from doing that. This Flickr group of photographs tagged with the word "camera toss" have pictures of people who keep the shutter speed open and then throw their camera's into the air to produce some truly incredible results. I really got to throw up my camera up in the air more often. Recently, unfortunately my camera went in the wrong direction, namely the river bed and is now out of action (boohoo!).
