Akihabara News has some in-depth coverage of CEATEC 2005 which is running throughout the week over in Japan. The trade-show gives all the major manufactures a chance to show off some of their emerging technology as well as some of the latest production prototypes. Hi-def seems to be the hot topic at this years show and many of the manufactures are showing off prototype HD cameras (JVC "Everio" prototype pictured above) and upcoming HD-DVD and Blu-ray hardware.
