The CitiDISK HDV

The CitiDISK HDV is a new portable hard-drive based video recorder. The new CitiDISK HDV is very similar to the FireStore capture device, which has been out now for some time. The CitiDISK HDV does have some abilities that separate is from the FireStore, such as the ability to record DV50 formatted video. The device automatically captures the video in either MT2, AVI, DV or MOV formats and can hold anywhere from 3 to just under 8 hours of footage depending on capacity and video format. The CitiDISK also has the ability to record continuously with the help of its internal and external battery sources. Both 40GB and 80GB versions of the CitiDISK HDV should be available soon for $680 and $850 respectively.
