I have been a big supporter of Celtx -- free, open-sourced, screenwriting software -- for a long time now. The 9.3 update was supposed to be released yesterday but they postponed it to today. Nearly pulled out my hair out during the wait. What is so great about Celtx? Besides that it is free software and software like it usually cost in the hundreds of dollars. Well, the focus in Celtx is the collaboration, they even have a site that you can use (currently it is free but will not remain so) to upload and store work that other people can come on and collaborate with you whether it be writing, set designing, props, producing or whatever. The software uses the Mozilla frame-work, which powers Firefox, and at some point many of these extensions will be ported over to Celtx. How cool is that? Anyways, I will have a review of it later. You can download it here. Celtx 0.9.3 released into the wild

1. I was an Alpha Tester and I can safely say that it was worth the wait. There were some... well, interesting bugs that appeared in the alpha release. Plus they had to delay it because I had the first day of the new school year yesterday. ;)
